  • HEY THERE!

Greetings from sunny England where i am tired and I am wearing shorts at home for the first time in ages!

Anyway, today was actually pretty interesting. I was up at 7:25-in order to be at work for 7:30, mind you- And got into work, before haveing to vacuum the squash courts. Which involves going over every crack in the floorboards with a knife scraping out the dust. I spent an hour and a half doing two courts.

    Fun.

After that, Adam, my Duty Manager, got me and my friend Roger changing the acid and chlorine in the swimming pools. We got suited up in our green rubber PPE suits (Personal Protective Equipment)-which, by the way, make us look like a pair of rubbery green aliens- and started lugging acid around. I like moving the acid. Its in powder form and doesnt do any damage to you and looks cool.

Then after lunch we moved the chlorine.

    THAT is a b@$+@&d.

Not only are the Chlorine barrels heavy as you like, but we had to lug them all over the complex. And then one of the pumps wouldnt pump, so I had to pour it into the chlorine tank. Roger tried the pump afterwards, and sprayed chlorine all over me.

And it managed to get in a gap in my PPE.

So my uniform, which is normally navy blue, is now rusty red in places.

Then when i got home, just after putting my feet up the doorbell rang. I went outside.

Lo and behold, it was a canvasser for the Labour party.

    WAHEY! Someone to wind up!!!!!!

ANyway, having asked him how his party expected to PAY for the improvements they intend to make, he avoided the question. And when i pressed him he got another labour dude to come to my front door.

Chanel Stevens, Labour candidate for my area :D !!!!

A REALL politician to annoy!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!

After agreeing Liam Fox, the Conservative MP for my area, was a total loser (My words, not his) I put the same question to him- How do you expect to finance the improvements you intend to make? What effect will that have on our economy?

He dodged the question. He wouldnt answer it. he was worried. A 16-year old had asked him a question he couldn’t answer.

    YEEEEHA!

He was saved because the phone rang, and he scuttled off down the road pretty sharpish.

He was a nice guy and all, but I aint voting for no-one who cant say how they intend to make and spend taxpayer’s money.

    Sorry Chanel., I’m staying Liberal.

Hazel’s right…I AM becoming a politician *gulps worriedly*

Oh, and my hit counter on my Weblog has disappeared.

    So-thats today for ya :D

1 political victory, 1 ruined uniform and 1 missinghit counter.

    Yay.

  • Defeating a politition deserves more than 2 e-props. Well done!

  • Hey, Scott!

Your revisioning keeps your wit sharp!  Way to go with your political visitors! So few of them are real–they are usually instead the “images” they pay PR people to craft for them, anyway.  It’s been a few days since you’ve talked to the universe of Xangans and through them, also to those within their spheres of influence.  (For instance, I sent a copy of your blog to a Lib Dem friend of mine in Hull, England).  Please revive yourself and revive us by emoting again!  Please check my blog, too.  Lots of introspective questions begging for your comment are there on the June 4th post.  Thanks again!
