Guten Tag!!!!!!!!!
Well, I’m not gonna beat about the bush. i havent updated in ages. And I’m sorry. PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!!!!!!!!
In all seriousness, I just cannot seem to find the time at the moment.
Things have been mad around here, what with work, school, exams etc. Basically, my exams have officially started. Thursday I had the second part of my general Studies-All about Social Perspectives.
Politics, basically. And we all know I pay too much attention to that subject. Hazel thinks one day I’ll be prime minister.
Anyway. I spent three pages slagging off the Conservatives (As everyone knows my political bias is very strongly Lib Dem) And the economy. My specialist subjects ^^
I have also sunbathed a lot. the weather has been so nice it’s been hard not to. I mean, on Thursday I walked to school for the hell of it. 7 miles. And I got lovely and sunburnt.
That was capped by me getting to work outside at work. Someone asked me what I do for a job, and I realised I hadnt actually explained.
I’m a Leisure Assistant. Me and the guys in my area are responsible for the day-to-day running of the health club. we act as receptionists, bankers, cleaners, lifeguards-Everything. Because we all need to work so closely together we know each other really well, and this adds to the positivity of the job. It doesnt sound like much, but I couldnt ask for a better part time job, and a better group of people to work with.
((Alright guys, pay up, c’mon….))
Also i have neglected the foot-and-mouth issue. As I am a country lad myself, It hit my area pretty badly-half the surrounding countryside was shut off. Which caused no end of problems for dog owners like meself. Luckily there were no confirmed cases near me, so i’m quite thankful for that-Long Ashton is home to one of the largest remaining Red Deer herds in Britain. And if they were wiped out I’d be VERY unhappy…I feed them every summer ^^
However, half the animals in a local city farm were killed by mistake
.
But now the countryside is open so the impct on ME is lifted. Now to see what the government do to help the farmers who lost their livelihoods.
Guess we have to wait and see.

Hello, Scott!
You HAVE had it hot! We went through a heat streak last week, breaking records for our part of middle America, but yesterday was like I found London last December–windy and sprinkly, then sunny, and then windy and sprinkly, etc. My tan from last week is definitely fading. I especially thank you for giving your perspective on FMD. The mention of the red deer was quite significant, and you’re the first person I’ve been in contact with who has talked about how the closing of the countryside was rough on dogs and dog owners. We are fortunate to have a huge, fenced back yard that keeps our dog very happy, chasing squirrels and chipmunks, and running along the fence to “talk” to the neighbors’ dogs.
Our 17-year-old son has exams all this week. Do well on the rest of yours now! Blessings, Claudia
