Well, Spring is REALLY here now.
How do i know?
Three things illustrate this fact.
1) Ice Cream truck. Yep, it went past my house yesterday, playing it’s merry little jingle. I bought a 99 Flake. With Chocolate topping. Like I have every year for god-knows how long. Good ol’ Mr. Whippy.
2) Old people on the local bowling green. DEFINITE sign spring is here. They while away the hours dressed in their bowling whites and cardigans, oblivious to the sweltering heat. Mad.
and 3) The school uniform Polo shirt is on sale. They only sell it for the Summer Term (Although it’s Spring) and soon all these lower-schoolers will be running around in it, laughing at those whodon’t have one and have to wear shirt and tie. Damn, that is uncomfortable. Thank god I have thrown off the shackles of uniform since joining sixth form.
Oh, you know I cut my hand? Well, it’s infected. Yip-de-bloody-yay. Y’see, me, my friend Simon and my two drama teachers had to rig the stage and lighting for Midsummer yesterday. And guess who had the job of crawling around under the stage screwing the segments together? You get two guesses.
Me.
Plus I had to show Miss Wachter what to do. Our school’s so old and crappy the stuff is COMPLETELY outdated.
Oh, and Simon dropped a plug from the top rung of a ladder.
Guess who it hit?
RIGHT AGAIN!
So I have a manky, gunky hand and a nice lump on me bonce. THEN I fell asleep during the line run. Yay. Life gets better and better >.<
Today was even worse. After a fairly enjoyable Media Studies lesson, I WALKED home. Yes, WALKED. Seven miles round trip, as Ashton Court (A huge park I cut through) is closed due to foot and mouth. So I had to take the long way round, down one of the steepest hills ya ever saw (Rownham Hill….if ya know it ya know what I mean) Before walking back UPhill to get home. In the heat.
I was KNACKERED.
Ever since then I have been tiling on my French. I was proud of it. I only had to get every OTHER word from the dictionary. I sent it to CLoe. She read it. Her exact words?
“My god, this is awful.”
Thanks hun :S
So that leaves me here, now, with a crap French assignment and a manky hand and a lump on my head.
The only GOOD thing to happen today is that I completed the first disc on Fear Effect. I’m proud of myself.
Well, thats today’s whinge over, see ya all again!!!!
P.S PLEASE comment if ya read these, i want to know what you think of the bloke/fool/imbecile/god-like entity who is writing this. Thanks all
